Exterior & Grounds

Cleaning That Respects the Surface

Siding, roofs, decks, and driveways cleaned with the right pressure for each material.

Florida grows mildew and algae on everything, but blasting it all at full pressure does more harm than good. We match the method to the surface, using gentle soft-washing where it belongs and higher pressure only where it is safe. Your home comes clean without coming damaged.

Our climate is a greenhouse for mildew, algae, and the green and black streaks that creep across siding, roofs, and walkways. Left alone, that growth holds moisture against the surface and slowly degrades it. Regular, correct cleaning is one of the cheapest ways to protect an exterior, but the key word is correct: a pressure washer in the wrong hands strips paint, etches concrete, drives water behind siding, and tears the granules off a roof.

We read the surface before we pick the pressure. Delicate materials like wood siding, screens, and shingled roofs get a low-pressure soft wash with the right cleaning solutions that kill growth at the root, so it stays gone longer instead of returning in weeks. Hard surfaces like concrete and pavers can take more, and we use it where it helps without leaving wand marks and zebra striping behind. Matching the method to the material is the whole job.

We clean siding, soffits, fences, decks, driveways, walkways, paver surfaces, and pool decks, and we often pair the work with painting and sealing projects. A proper cleaning is also the right first step before exterior paint, since a finish coat applied over mildew and chalk will not last. We are careful around plantings, fixtures, and the home itself throughout.

The old-house angle

Old siding, soft historic masonry, and aged wood demand a gentle hand. Full-pressure washing can blast paint off original clapboards, erode old brick and coquina, and force water deep into walls that were never sealed against it. We use low-pressure soft-washing methods that clean those surfaces without eroding them, protecting the materials that give an older home its character.
