Concrete Poured to Last
Driveways, patios, walkways, and slabs formed, reinforced, and finished on solid ground.
Concrete is permanent, which means there is no room to cut corners on the parts you cannot see. We prepare the subgrade, form clean lines, reinforce the pour, and finish and cure it properly so the slab resists the cracking and settling that plague rushed work. What you get is a flat, durable surface that holds up.
Strong concrete starts below the surface. A slab is only as stable as the ground it sits on, so we compact and prepare the subgrade, set forms true, and place reinforcement before any concrete is poured. Florida sand and the moisture that moves through it will undermine a slab that was poured on loose or uneven ground, which is exactly how driveways crack and walkways heave within a few years.
Control matters in the pour and the finish. We place control joints where the concrete should crack so it does not crack where you do not want it to, work the surface to the texture the job calls for, and cure the slab so it gains strength instead of drying too fast and crazing. In our heat, curing is not optional; concrete that flashes off in the sun ends up weaker and more prone to surface failure.
We handle driveways, patios, walkways, footings, and slabs, along with repairs to existing concrete that has cracked, settled, or spalled. Where a full replacement is not warranted, we can often repair and resurface instead, giving you a sound surface without the cost of tearing everything out. We will tell you honestly which path makes sense for your situation.

The old-house angle
Around older homes, original concrete has often cracked, settled, or pulled away from the structure after decades of shifting soil and tree-root pressure. We assess whether it can be repaired or should be replaced, and we plan new pours to direct water away from foundations that were never waterproofed. Careful concrete work protects an old house from the slow damage that standing water and a failing slab can cause.
