Woodwork Built to Match Your Home

New woodwork should look like it has always been there. We build, repair, and match trim, cabinetry, and architectural details to what the house already has, and we measure and fit each piece to the actual walls on site.

Northeast Florida homes hold a wide range of woodwork: heart-pine baseboards in a Springfield foursquare, beadboard porch ceilings in Riverside, raised-panel doors in a 1920s cottage. When those pieces split, rot, or go missing, off-the-shelf replacements rarely match. We mill profiles to match the originals so the repair reads as part of the house instead of a patch.

We also build new: window seats, bookcases, mantels, wainscoting, pantry shelving, and closet systems, all sized to your rooms instead of pulled from a catalog. Walls in older houses are rarely plumb or square after decades of settling, so each built-in is scribed to the wall it sits against. That fitting takes time, and it is what keeps a gap from showing along the edge.

Humidity moves wood here. Trim installed dry in January can swell tight by July, and unsealed joints open and close with the seasons. We pick materials suited to the climate, prime end grain before installation, and detail joints so the wood can move without cracking the paint.
