Stone Set Level, Sealed, and Solid

Stone is heavy, unforgiving, and permanent once it is set, which is exactly why the preparation matters so much. We template carefully, build cabinetry and supports to carry the weight, and set every slab dead level. Done right, a stone counter outlasts everything else in the room.

A countertop is only as good as what holds it up. Before any stone arrives, we make sure the cabinets are level, anchored, and strong enough to carry the load, adding support where a span or an overhang needs it. In older homes with settled floors, that often means shimming and leveling a cabinet run that has drifted out of true over the years. Stone will not forgive a low spot, so we take it out before the slab goes down.

We install granite, quartz, marble, and other natural stone for kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, islands, and accent pieces. Templating is where precision pays off: an accurate template means tight seams, clean sink and cooktop cutouts, and overhangs that line up with the cabinetry below. We plan seam placement to fall where it is least visible and structurally sound, not just wherever the slab happens to break.

Natural stone is porous, and Florida humidity and daily kitchen use are hard on an unsealed surface. We seal stone properly at installation and walk you through how to keep it looking right. We also repair and re-set existing stone, reseal aging counters, and fix failed seams, so you do not have to replace a slab that simply needs attention.
